My Experience to Ranthambore National Park
When you want to explore the wild life in Rajasthan then Ranthambore
Nation Park is the place to explore your imagination apart from your thought. Ranthambore
Nation Park is situated 10 kilometer from Sawai Madhopur and covering total 392
square kilometer area. The national park embraces the Aravalli and Vindhyachal
hill. We can fondly say that it is the
land of tigers where we have an enough sight of wild life.
National Park is a rich in wildlife and truly enthralling with the beauty of nature. We got thrilling experience as we crossed some security checks and goose bumps started to our bodies as soon as we were entering the Ranthambore National Park.The national park is divided in 8 zones and every zone is beautiful by its own. We were totally mesmerized with zone. You will be amazed when you get to know that all tiger and tigress have their name such as Noor, Krishna or T19, Machli or T16 the queen of Ranthambore, Suraj or T65. We wanted to have a look of three generation of tiger that is Machli, Krishna and Arrowhead.After entering in the park, I was lucky enough to have a look of Tigress Machli with her two cubs which were playing, prancing and climbing around her. They were 100 feet apart from our jeep and stayed over there for 25 minutes. She growled loudly and wanted to be attentive for her cubs as she did not let her cubs to nearby us. Watching tiger is the best thing to be watched by the naked eyes and in front of you. This event gives totally goose bumps to your body. I heard that after having water generally tigers do not want to get them self open. Tigress Krishna T19 and Machi stayed mysterious because we were unable to find both of them and we were giving lesson to each other that patience is a integrity. We took an 800 kilometer drive from Noor and find a peacock dancing with glorious feather that was so amazing.
Zone no 3 and 4 are comprise 3 lakes that are Padam Talab, Malik Talab and Raj Bagh. Large number of birds comes to these lakes because large numbers of water bodies’ attract them. We did spot plenty of birds in Ranthambore include Terns, Great Crested Grebe, Eagles, Darters, Cormorants, Egrets, Herons, Bitterns, Flamingos, Ibis, Pelicans, Storks, Pittas, Shrikes, Treepies, Crows, Orioles, Cuckoo-Shrikes, Minivets, Drongos, Flycatchers, Ioras, Wood Shrikes, Pipits, Graylag Goose, Woodpeckers, Indian Gray Hornbills, Common Kingfishers, Bee Eaters, Cuckoos, Parakeets, Asian Palm Swift, Owl, Nightjars, Pigeon, Dove, Crakes, Snipes, Sandpipers, Gulls, , Bayas, Sparrows, Finches, Wagtails, Munias, Bulbul, Mynas, Falcons etc. Talking about animals, one can see Tigers, Leopards, Striped Hyenas, Sambar deer, Chital, Nilgai, Common or Hanuman langurs, Macaques, Jackals, Jungle cats, Caracals, Sloth bears, Black bucks, Rufoustailed Hare, Indian Wild Boar, Chinkara, Common Palm Civets or Toddy cat, Coomon Yellow Bats, Desert Cats, Fivestriped Palm Squirels, Indian False Vampires, Indian Flying Foxes, Indian Foxes, Indian Gerbilles, Indian Mole Rats, Indian Porcupines, Longeared Hedgehogs, Ratels, Small Indian Mongoose, Small Indian Civets and Common mongoose.
Next morning we visited great Ranthambore Fort as well as the Temple of Lord Ganesha.The temple has mystifying faith that the Lord Ganesha’s idol emerged from the rock and has three eyes by which he called the Trinetra Ganesha.The view from Ranthambore fort was captivating; the national park was looking beautiful from the fort. I was the witness of this wild life sanctuary experience and want to my share my experience with everybody that once in life have to explore National park. It is more beautiful and blessing when you are so close to nature and greenery.
